Biography/History:

Foundation: 1996

Founded in 1996 by Venomil Sacrifice, the band began performing in... dark cabarets all around Germany. It had one very short running drummer [Lurch Erich] before they met the brothers. They also had some very awkward experiences with three different bassists before they finally found Mephistopheles. Ever since then, the group has been very close, and despite some disputes they return just as strong and creative.

The Transition: 1999

Once Mephistopheles joined, they began experimenting with all kinds of instruments. Venomil's distinctive violin playing and unique singing voice gave them a unique edge while they included the harpsichord, organ, piano and even cello. They finally came up with their own sound and practically their rightful genre.

Silent Sacrifice: 1998

Their first official album was released by Mekanikz Records, and it sold over a million copes over a single weekend in Germany alone. Their sound was so raw and unique that all kinds of people wanted to experience it. They were all over the news, even featured in Lizzie's Band Attack. The pink-haired model/singer hostess was instantly hooked. Just a week later, she managed to get them on the show. They discussed some of the messages of the songs, causing some serious controversy. Lizzie being Lizzie, she was more than used to it; her band Sniffing Insanity had a similar reaction.

Anarchy: 2000

This album had an even more of a reaction. Despite all the furious parents, the band's popularity continued to grow. They were all across Europe just by selling their second album. Blutengel's appearance in the song Ihr Seid Alle Dumm (You're All Stupid) certainly garnered the attention of all their underground fans.

Innocent Blood: 2004

As if that was not enough, the band spread out to more English listeners as they featured Motionless In White and Sniffing Insanity in their biggest hit album, Innocent Blood. Chris Motionless's beautifully haunting voice gave everyone goosebumps as it so perfectly mixed with Venomil's, and his screams truly gave the band a new flavour in the song If Hell Froze Over.
Sniffing Insanity's fans went truly wild as Lizzie's remarkable voice and Spike Payne's bone-chilling screams carried everyone into a new dimension of musical experiences.

Resurrection of the Damned: 2009

This album was the culmination of the truly artistic talents of the entire band. They finally found their voice, especially after all the touring they did. After four years of purely touring and a year long break, the German artists made a groundbreaking return with the most controversial lyrics to date. Venomil is still challenging authorities and the law and even religious people with all his angry and questioning songs. This one album caused Christians to have a mass burning of their CDs, which in turn enticed anger in their fans. Had the police not intervened, things might have gone really wrong. Most of them were out-of-control teens, so no one was really afraid of any serious damage.

EPs: SS only released one Ep, on the year 2012.

The band had planned on continuing their album after returning from their tour, but for reasons still unknown, Venomil left the band right after they came back from the tour. One might expect rumours about them having a disagreement before coming home to Germany, but no bands report any such behaviour.

Breaking up: 2012

Sadly, the band that seemed invincible had to come apart when Venomil Sacrifice left them. None of the band members seem to be angry with him or his decision and appear to be more than understanding. Their secrecy prevented even the paparazzi from getting any truly interesting leaks on the ex-band. Some people even think Venomil is dead.

Resurgence: 2015

Venomil Sacrifice was mentioned in the news as an escaped fugitive from the law. He was accused of murder in cold blood. Some say it was organised crime and others say he simply lost it (his insanity was the reason for him quitting the band). His ex band members have nothing to share and none of them are willing to be interviewed. So far, the fugitive is completely untraceable. Some claim the law killed him, while others insist he left the country.

Nothing is known for sure. The only thing anyone knows is that he was caught for the crime of murder, but his innocence has not been truly determined. Fans are anxious for the old lead vocalist.
